Just People Helping People: The Campaign to Purchase and Expand the Meyer CenterThe Greenville community has been extremely generous in its support of the capital campaign to purchase and expand the Meyer Center. Purchase of the building was completed in August 2007. Renovations are planned in phases to allow the Center to remain open and able to provide services throughout the construction process. Phase I renovations have been completed, providing two additional classrooms, expanded speech, physical and occupational therapy areas, and administrative office space and two new playgrounds. The expansion will enable the Center to provide many more children with life-changing services. We are excited to see this dream being realized and most appreciative of the many individuals, businesses and foundations who have stepped forward to help. Your help is still needed to reach the goal of $4.5 million dollars. Your contribution to the campaign will have a lasting impact on the lives of children with disabilities in the Upstate. If you can help, please contact Barbara Martin, Assistant Director, at (864) 250-0005, ext. 208, or by email at bmartin@meyercenter.org. Thank you!
