AdmissionsThe Meyer Center offers developmental education and therapy services to preschool children with disabilities in Upstate South Carolina. Criterion for participation in the program is considered on a level of disability requiring at least two types of therapy (occupational, physical and speech therapy) Eligibility for Center services is determined by an Admission Team consisting of teacher, therapists, and social worker. Referrals to the Meyer Center are received from many sources, including the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs, the Center for Developmental Services, the Health Department, BabyNet, Family Connections of Greenville County, and local physicians. Families may also contact the Center directly. To make an inquiry or to obtain additional information, contact Susan Psimer, Social Worker, at 250-0005, Extension 203.
